Photography: Art, Passion and Life

Photography is a superb art. Photography is a deep and living passion. Photography is life. Those are three statements by which I like to define my deep love for this activity.

Do you feel something similar to what I do? If you love photography, then you should. But… what is this article about? Well, it’s a different type of article: it starts with a thought on why I love photography and think of it that way, and also a piece of content which will leave you satisfied, because I’ll share some great tips with you.

Now it’s time to begin with the most interesting part from this article: the tips. I sincerely hope you can become a great photographer someday, someone who dares to do something different, someone who really makes a difference. And I hope you can give you a bit of help with these tips, which have been obtained thanks to some years of experience and hard work on this field.

Lightroom Is Important, Very Important:

I’ve met some photographers who say that they do not need to learn how to use Lightroom or Photoshop, because all that matter are their camera skills – but that’s an old-fashioned way of thinking that doesn’t work any longer. Of course, you can follow that line of thought if you take this as a hobby, but if you want to live out of this, then you cannot afford to do such thing.

You must learn LR if you want to become great. And you shouldn’t forget about Photoshop, which is another element of great importance. And for this piece of software you can get free photoshop actions, and for LR you can also get actions and presets. PS is a very useful tool, especially if you combine it with LR. You need to become a master on software, don’t listen to the ones who tell you otherwise.

Do Not Be Cheap With Your Camera:

Again, this advice is given to people who take this as a business rather than a hobby. You cannot afford to be cheap with your camera, you need to buy something that delivers excellent value. Your camera and your skills go hand to hand, and they need to be on the same level of quality.

If your camera has poor resolution, then it doesn’t matter if you have the best skills on this world, your photos won’t look good. You can’t be cheap, you need to invest into your camera – for real.

If you buy a good camera, learn how to use it very well and enhance your photos in LR + PS, then you will be offering more value than a vast majority of your competitors.
